Julie Smith brings a wealth of fiscal and financial management experience to her role as Director of Contract Compliance and Development for XMi Social Enterprises. For 19 years she was in banking and finance, primarily developing systems and internal controls in financial settings, streamlining policies and procedures, and completing mergers and conversions of financial systems. She later brought this unique ability to bear in her work for the Tennessee Department of Health where she was able to streamline the state contracting system, financial reporting process, and the data submission and payment process for its contracted agencies.

Julie also has particular expertise in the areas of risk assessment, strategic planning, and disaster recovery planning. Her knowledge of accounting, auditing, and government contracting systems uniquely qualifies her to troubleshoot and maximize efficiencies in the internal systems and controls for the clients XMi serves.
